ASBA facility on NFOs from October 1, 2010

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has extended the deadline to provide ASBA (Applications Supported by Blocked Amount) facility to investors investing in new fund offers (NFOs) to October 1, 2010. Earlier, fund houses were supposed to offer the facility on all NFOs launched on or after July 1, 2010.
